Near allies it stops.
Near map borders it doesn't work properly.
Both seem to be, that it tries to settle something and then stops if it cant.

Also stops when theres a temporary "cant occupy", like from an inducer or supervirus.

I'm making a change with the next update that should fix most or all of these issues. Let me know if you see this still happening after the next update (which is planned for tonight or tomorrow). Thanks!

It seems to be happening when trying to place next square diagonally, it just stops.

Example how to test. Make an enemy 3x3 square and put your 5x5 in the middle of that. It doesnt finish. Try when starting from multiple angles.

Also seems to be a problem when capturing land that is evaced, but has structures on it.

In some mountain ranges it also stops when it should not. I guess this is low priority, but worth to look at some point.

I've looked into it some but haven't managed to reproduce it yet. Let me know if you find a situation where it happens reliably. If no reliable repro situation can be found, it might be something that relies on the specific timing of when responses are received from the server. I will look into this further.

Have you tried the 3x3 one?

Be next to enemy lands, that is a 3x3. Click on the center and choose occupy 5x5. It constantly stops. Try approaching from different directions. Approaching from the south seems to be the most difficult one.

Got it -- this will be fixed in the next client update.

It's now worse than before. It seems to stop randomly on flat areas. Squares arent sometimes updating, need to scroll the map and scroll back to have ownership of some tiles.
