You are correct. However this method is extremely inefficient as it takes twice as long to accomplish the task on the mobile platform. Putting mobile users at a disadvantage to those on computers. Especially in in battles. I can ALT + Click to build 10 walls on a computer in the time it takes the mobile user to press, hold, then select build on one square.

Currently it takes quite some time to evac land and build/upgrade structures via the mobile application as there is no shortcut for evacing squares (Shift + Left Click on Desktop), splash attacks (Shift + Left Click), building structures (Ctrl + Left Click on Desktop), or upgrading structures ( Ctrl + Left Click on Desktop). It would be possible to add 2 buttons on the UI of the mobile application, one for "Shift" and one for "Ctrl". This way mobile users can build structures and evac land just as quickly as the desktop user they are battling against. (Also for our own sanity) The user would then be able to press and / or hold one of these buttons with their left hand while clicking the squares with their right.

These buttons can be conveniently located under the Map symbol and to the right of the Advances / Messages tabs.

@Mike - As always, I'm willing to offer programming assistance for back end & front end development should you need it.
