Best of luck to Mike with the update. I have no intention of ever playing again but I admire that he hasn't completely given up on what has been more or less dead on arrival. Hopefully he can turn it around somehow!

Well, the forum has been dead ever since Skyhunter was chased out of it. So I guess it's technically changed. Dunno about in game though. I haven't logged in since like October.

Don't let this version of WoC end the same way as the last version, endless beta with 10 or so 'vets' bitching at each other.

Looks like that's exactly what happened with this one LOL!.

Hard to have change in a game that's dead. Mike hasn't shown his face since October of 2018 when he added the new server.The second server was a nice try but the game had already suffered irreversible damage. Guessing he gave up since the new server and changes to the original did nothing to revital...

The game succeeded as a love letter to all the old WOC players looking for a nostalgia fix but I don't think it will ever be more than that. Maybe on mobile it would have had a small chance at commercial success but not strictly as a PC game. The game never got the critical mass of players it needs ...

Have you tried with both the Steam client and the standalone from the website? Assuming Mike hasn't resolved your problem yet.

Maybe reinstall and try again? You can also try emaling Mike at mike@ironzog.com if you don't get a response here. He's the developer/owner of the game.

What kind of bugs? Mike can't fix bugs if they aren't reported.

There's probably no changes because no one has posted feedback since October which happens to be the last time there was an update. I personally don't play anymore so I have don't really have anymore feedback to give. Not sure if Mike has his own vision for where he wants to take the game from this ...
