Dynamic Resources

How about the map generating x amount of resources per n number of nations that can inhabit the zone between the west & the east. x should be less than y, which would the number of reasonably supportable resources if one was inclined to 3x3 a few, for instance.

The other parts to this idea would be that the resources could either stay hidden and appear in the same spots or be random. The other part is a mass delete flags option AND a premium paid for export flags option ! :)

Scaling the number of resources according to the number of nations in the world is possible, but I'd like to wait until at least open beta before looking at that because right now there are unrealistically few players in the world. Once it's more populated and there's more competition, I don't think this will be as much of an issue.

Having resources move around is something else, and an idea that has come up before. On the one hand it would increase battles over resources, but on the other it could lead to big battles being disappointing when the resource you fought over disappears right after you get it, and it would mean constant updating of flags. This is something else I think we'll get a better idea of how necessary it is once there are more players, and should discuss more them.
