Over the holidays i was forced to play on android. While its nice to have a way to be in game while on the move, the android client needs a bit of work.
Zoom level too low. I have a nice high resolution phone, but the visible area is so small. More zoom should also be allowed on PC.
Probably the most infuriating thing on mobile is the long press. If the screen moves a couple pixels, the game thinks youre panning not trying to long press. One way to fix would be to add some tolerance, if the screen moves, then pop up the right click menu anyway. Other more preferred way is to have a separate "tool", where you click on the tool first and then on the map. 2 quick taps is way better than one inaccurate long press.
Android suggestions
It does have some tolerance; it only considers it panning if you move > 1% of the screen's width since pressing down. I'll increase that tolerance to 2% with the next client update.Sphinx wrote: ↑Tue Jan 02, 2018 3:36 pmProbably the most infuriating thing on mobile is the long press. Also, with the next update the visible area on Android will be larger when the screen is in the tall orientation (which is when the visible area was very low). At the wide orientation the visible area will be about the same as on a PC screen.
