Messages need more visibility

I've seen some of the suggestions around before, but couldnt find them. Here are some issues/suggestions:

When someone private messages you, the [^] button should be more visible.
When tabs are flashing, they should flash harder.

When someone sends you a message, the "Others" tab and "Messages" button should stay flashing until you read that page. Those messages are almost always missed, since opening the "Game" tab also clears the flashing for other tabs. Same thing for "Nation" tab.

For nation chat and other it should have a small light in the corner of your screen that glows red if you have messages. Similar to if you have an advance point unused.
