You can migrate but in game credits aren't unlimited and take time to earn. Spending money to buy credits in a free game shouldn't ever be a requirement just to play because it stops being a free to play game at that point. Though in the future assuming there are more players and a larger map it would take a lot more time and effort to keep someone jailed so I don't think there's any need for the game to be changed yet.Tupac wrote: ↑Thu Aug 23, 2018 4:19 pm
So migrate? I mean in our case we usually jail those that harass us over and over. Probably in the case of Sky that happened. You can continue to migrate and move around if you wish.ArcticPrism wrote: ↑Thu Aug 23, 2018 3:33 pmI think the real problem is jailing players. They're literally not allowed to play if they are hunted down and jailed regularly. Migration has a 48 hour cooldown and costs credits otherwise. As far as being constantly targeted by attacks, there's really just barely anyone to fight so they have plenty of time to focus on one person.
Players are always going to get mad when they aren't winning. It is like that any game. Luckily we have managed to hold on this long. On steam release and the map expanding it will prevent us from locking it down. Maybe they will have another server for other players who can only play so much, but you can't log in for an hour a day or two, and come back the next day expecting to have anything at all.
What is going to happen when the game scales to 5000 players? When they are daily wiping everyone and anyone? You going to complain then too or just quit? None of you think about that.
I'm not saying that being attacked will happen less with more players in the game and it will happen more often with the map full of players fighting for space. Being offline and losing what you have because you're not online to defend it is just the nature of the game. I'm just saying people will feel less like they are being "bullied" because it probably wont be the same few people doing it to them regularly.
