Each attack your nation makes spends some manpower, and once you run out you’ll need to wait for more to be generated before you can continue attacking. However, it’s also possible to spend credits to buy manpower. To do so, click (or tap) the (+) icon on the left end of the red Manpower Bar. You’ll have the option of a complete or partial fill-up. After you’ve bought 100% of your nation’s Manpower Max worth of manpower in one day, you will not be able to buy any more until the next day.

Buying manpower

A nation has separate stocks of manpower on the mainland, on its home island, and when executing a raid. You can buy a limited amount of additional manpower on each of these maps.

Energy is used to maintain defenses, and when a nation burns energy faster than it is generated, normally some defenses will become inert and useless. However, on the mainland, each nation has an energy reserve. This reserve allows the nation to reinforce its defenses for a short time, temporarily burning through energy faster than it’s generated. The extra energy cost is taken from the energy reserves, until they run out.

If your nation’s energy reserves are less than full, you can buy more energy for your reserves by spending credits. To do so, click (or tap) the (+) icon on the left end of the blue Energy Bar. You’ll have the option of a complete or partial fill-up. After you’ve bought 100% of your nation’s max Energy Reserves worth of energy in one day, you will not be able to buy any more until the next day.
